Glass, acrylic, gold, photography, silk thread, silk paper, hair ashes

"... Diana Silva, interpreted the piece based on what it represents - a reliquary of the love one - though removing the value of pure romantic love from it. "Lovehate", the title of the piece, tells us about truth and falseness, of opposite feelings, and represents this duality through the use of synthetic stonework, represented in conventional plastic cases, as thoseusually used for the sale of real stones - the entire value of the stone being assumed by its own plastic packaging, emphasizing and enhancing this sense of fake. The hair kept in this reliquary is no longer immaculate and has became ash, it is also burnt to enhance the sense of ending as opposed to that of permanence and eternity."
